講座人介紹：

林宙辰教授是北京大學(xué)機器感知與智能教育部重點實驗室教授、信息科學(xué)技術(shù)學(xué)院教授、東北師范大學(xué)"東師學(xué)者"講座教授，曾任微軟亞洲研究院視覺計算組主管研究員，中國科學(xué)院計算技術(shù)研究所客座研究員等。擔(dān)任著名期刊IEEE Trans. Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence，International J. Computer Vision等編委，主持著名國際會議CVPR 2014/2016/2019/2020、ICCV 2015、NIPS 2015/2018/2019、AAAI 2019/2020、IJCAI 2020領(lǐng)域主席（Area Chair）等，他是國際模式識別學(xué)會和IEEE學(xué)會的會士（IAPR Fellow，IEEE Fellow）。他的主要研究方向是包括機器學(xué)習(xí)、模式識別、計算機視覺、圖像處理和數(shù)值計算與優(yōu)化。

講座內(nèi)容：

Deep learning is reaching its peak and bottleneck. What is next to deep learning? Many researchers are keen on this question. This talk may give you a partial answer. I will introduce the basic idea and concepts of differential programming, which is to optimize all the parameters in a large system jointly.
