講座人介紹:
Adnan Kefal,現(xiàn)任土耳其薩班哲大學工程與自然科學學院副教授,博士生導師,土耳其復合材料技術(shù)卓越中心的成員。2017年在英國思克萊德大學獲得船舶與海洋工程系博士學位。曾在美國宇航局蘭利研究中心擔任訪問研究員,并在土耳其伊斯坦布爾技術(shù)大學擔任助理教授。
研究領(lǐng)域為計算和實驗力學、大型結(jié)構(gòu)的工程優(yōu)化技術(shù)、結(jié)構(gòu)健康監(jiān)測和復合結(jié)構(gòu)力學等,在著名期刊上發(fā)表了超過55篇文章,并發(fā)表了58篇會議論文。2022年,獲得METU帕拉爾基金會獎;2023年,獲得土耳其高等教育委員會頒發(fā)的杰出成就獎,該獎項由土耳其總統(tǒng)雷杰普·塔伊普·埃爾多安在土耳其安卡拉頒發(fā)。
講座內(nèi)容:
As technology progresses, the use of lightweight materials, load-resistant components, and integrated real-time monitoring systems has significantly increased to address the need for cost-effective, smart, and high-performance structures. To this end, this seminar covers three key topics of modern computational and experimental techniques:
1. Peridynamics topology optimization of structures with cracks,
2. Composite mechanics by using refined zigzag theory,
3. Structural digital twin based on inverse finite element method.
Applications of these state-of-the-art methods include crack modelling and fracture mechanics, additive manufacturing, structural and piezoelectric analysis of complex sandwich structures and variable stiffness composites, embedded sensor technologies, shape sensing, and in situ damage detection. Most of these digital models are validated experimentally and demonstrated as a potential technology for direct use in diverse engineering platforms.
